Rewind explores the idea of returning—revisiting fragments of musical memories, gestures, and moments that have already passed. Written for wind quintet, the piece moves between recurring ideas and shifting textures, as if rewinding and replaying a familiar recording while allowing something new to emerge with each return. Rather than simply retracing the past, Rewind asks how memory changes what we hear—and how revisiting something can transform our understanding of it.
